Through the BE vision, they have introduced INGLO(Intelligent Electric Global). This is a modular skateboard platform that is specially designed for electric vehicles. Electric cars based on the INGLO platform have better cabin space, high density battery and support up to 175kW fast-charging which can charge the vehicle from 20-80% in minutes.   1. Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e- These are the 1st two models of the BE range which have already been launched in India. Both of these Mahindra electric cars are based on INGLO platform and come with two battery pack options 59 kWh and 59 kWh which gives a range of up to 600 km(ARAI).   2. Mahindra XEV 7e- This is an all-electric version of the popular XUV700. This will come with a battery and features similar to XEV 9e. This might be launched during Diwali 2025.
  3. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV- This will take the place of XUV 400 and compete directly with Tata Nexon EV. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV might come with two battery pack options 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh.
  4. Mahindra Thar Electric(Thar.e)- This is one of the most anticipated electric SUV launches in India. This too will be based on the INGLO platform. The electric version of Thar might be launched at the end of 2026.
  5. Mahindra Bolero and Scorpion Electric, these popular models of Mahindra might be launched during 2027-2028.

Partnership and Innovation

Mahindra has also signed an agreement with Volkswagen Group for the supply of electric components and unified cells from Volkswagen’s MEB platform, which will further strengthen their EV development efforts.
